Grade Control

JSW has extensive experience in reverse circulation (RC) grade control across multiple commodities including gold, iron ore, bauxite and nickel. We hold proprietary technologies and systems to ensure safe, quality samples.

We work in collaboration with our clients to build and operate drills specific to commercial, environmental and project requirements. We compliment this with our sample systems which are specifically designed to projects and materials’ characteristics.

JSW has a custom fleet of compact, small foot print drills that can perform grade control operations with the added advantage of being able to perform other deep hole RC drilling requirements onsite. These purpose built rigs are not modified blasthole drills.


The BBURG HD2500RC is an advanced RC drill rig with full wireless remote control. Designed to get more personnel off the drill pad while improving grade control and sampling performance, the rig is subject to continuous innovation and is well on the way to automation.


The Equus drill was developed as a specialist small footprint high capacity rig for sampling applications in dense bushland and hilly terrain.


Exploration and Resource Definition

Responsible and progressive environmental management is core to exploration drilling programs. JSW will work with our clients to produce effective plans and solutions to address issues and opportunities.

We leverage our specialist fleet and the ability to customise solutions to ensure beyond-compliance project delivery. Our rigs utilise one of the smallest drill pads in the industry, while our truck and track mounted rigs with high on-board capacity air and large on-board rod carrying capacity are also available.
