Jason Ward
Jason has had a highly successful career as an exploration geologist having been involved in the discovery of several economic resource deposits in Oman, Laos, Papua New Guinea and most recently in Ecuador where he was instrumental in the discovery of three porphyry copper gold deposits, including the world class Tier-1 Cascabel copper deposit (12Mt Cu & 26Moz Au) for SolGold plc which is one of the biggest undeveloped copper and gold deposits in the world.
Jason has been based in Argentina since 2004 where he operates Condor Prospecting, a project generation and exploration company with assets in copper, gold and lithium. He is also Exploration Director for Belararox Ltd (BRX.AX) which is exploring for copper and battery minerals in San Juan, Argentina, Botswana and Australia.
Jason has an extensive track record of successfully working with local communities and safely managing exploration teams, working with people from diverse cultures in challenging social and physical terrain
In 2021 he was awarded the Premio Sacha award by Sacha Unidos for his commitment to environment in Imbabura, Northern Ecuador.
