A COMMITMENT TO INDIGENOUS ENGAGEMENT

Today, 9% of JSW’s total workforce are indigenous Australians. It’s FMG projects currently have a 35% indigenous participation rate – one of the best results for FMG.

JSW is committed to equality and diversity initiatives that deliver improved employment opportunities for indigenous Australians.

The Company’s strategic goal is to further increase indigenous participation through regional employment and training programs. It has a clear objective to increase the numbers of indigenous Australians employed within the drilling industry which over time will create broader, long term opportunities.

To deliver sustainable long term employment outcomes for regional indigenous Australians, JSW has committed to short, medium and long term strategies to provide employment opportunities and career pathways for indigenous employees. One pathway is the enrolment of staff in registered traineeships where skills and professional development training programs are delivered.

JSW teams are respectful, inclusive and supportive with a believe that workforces are enriched by the indigenous culture of the regional areas in which the Company operates.
