After breaking numerous production records in 2022, the Boddington crew had a strong start to 2023, achieving record metres for two consecutive days in January.
On 28 January, the four person crew made up of Kevin Lodge, Joshua Kennard, Grifin Freitag and Justin Websdale, led by Project Manager Luke Clarke, drilled over 3,400m in a 12 hour shift, accompanied by four drill rigs.
The next day, Shaun Thomas took the place of Kevin and the team achieved an exceptional record of over 3,500m in a single shift. This is an outstanding accomplishment and reflects the crews’ dedication to safety and consistent drive to deliver results.
