Drill Fitters/ Hydraulic Fitter/ Heavy Duty Fitter
Working as a fitter, you’ll provide backup to field crews and equipment to minimise hazards and downtime, keeping projects running smoothly.
Location: On site – FIFO (WA), DIDO (Peel Region, South West WA, Bibra Lake Workshop)
A typical day in the life:
- Carry out maintenance repairs, servicing and rebuilds and make sure all equipment is maintained to JSW and manufacturer recommendations
- Keeping accurate maintenance records and making sure reporting requirements are met
- Carrying out general tasks such as stocktakes and store duties, cleaning and organising work areas
Skills, experience and qualifications that will help you in this role include:
- Trade certification
- C Class manual driver’s licence, with heavy rigid or above highly desirable
- Current senior first aid certificate (desirable)
- Air conditioning ticket (desirable)
- Hydraulics knowledge
- Experience in mobile equipment maintenance, ideally within the mining industry
