The drill and blast contract renewal between JSW and South32 at Boddington Bauxite Mine commenced on August 1st for a four-year period. This continued relationship is a credit to the site teams’ consistent achievements, exceptional safety record and delivery of KPI’s.
Ongoing teamwork and dedication to the task at hand has enabled the production and maintenance crews at Boddington to achieve exceptional results in recent months.
The production team achieved 3,000m above the monthly target in March, an excellent outcome for two drill rigs.
This success was supported by exceptional maintenance levels, reaching 95% rig availability.
These results are a demonstration of the determination and passion of JSW crews and set the benchmark for the industry.
