The BBurg HD2500RC is the product of a design and construct collaboration between IDAT (JSW’s technology arm) and premier German drill rig manufacturer, BBurg.
The high-powered rig is using advanced remote technology by IDAT (Intelligent Drilling Automation Technology) and has been developed to tackle the tough terrain and reduce operating costs on site.
The successful delivery of the rig is a credit to both the IDAT and BBurg teams, who have worked tirelessly to ensure the rig was developed to the highest possible standard.
The rig is the first of many that will be introduced to JSW’s fleet as part of a broader strategy to ensure that equipment is continually upgraded and improved, leading the way in drilling technology and innovation.
