The crews on site at our Boddington project and in the Bibra Lake workshop recently carried out a mid-life rebuild on RG019.
In order to carry out the rebuild, the rig was disassembled to separate the carrier and the mast. The mat remained on site at Boddington and the carrier was transported to the Bibra Lake workshop.
Crews at both locations conducted extensive works on the rig, including replacing the engine, structural repairs and a fresh coat of paint.
Once the works were complete, the carrier was transported back to Boddington and the rig reassembled.
